Tulane Health System

Tulane Health System leverages its status as the New Orleans area’s premier academic medical center to bridge cutting-edge research to patient care. Our clinical assets include a Comprehensive Stroke Center and the Tulane Healthy Brain Aging Initiative.

The Tulane Healthy Brain Aging Initiative is lead by Tulane’s Chair of Neurology, Dr. Demetrius Maraganore. This initiative focuses on healthy aging and preserving cognitive performance over the age of 90. In addition to research initiatives, this Initiative brings interventions (especially non-drug interventions) to patients in the form of pragmatic clinical trials.
